Discover Flekkefjord’s rich past with an entry ticket to the local museum housed in a 1700s merchant’s residence. Explore historical exhibits, visit the old Krambua café, and enjoy summer activities and guided city walks.
Step into Flekkefjord Museum and explore the region’s local history in an 18th-century merchant's home, one of the town’s most notable preserved buildings. The museum presents a chronological exhibition that highlights life in Flekkefjord over the last two centuries, including trade, domestic life, and well-known local figures.
In the charming backyard, you'll find Krambua, an old-fashioned general store now operating as a café and gift shop. During summer, the museum hosts family-friendly activities in the garden, offering a lively yet relaxed setting for visitors of all ages.
Between June and August, your ticket also includes a choice of two guided city walks held daily. These 45-minute walks explore Flekkefjord's old town streets, revealing stories from its past and connections to figures like Anna Wahl, whose contributions helped establish the museum.
Flekkefjord Museum is open daily from 12:00–16:00 during the summer season (21 June – 17 August 2025). City walks depart daily at 12:00 and 14:00. Tickets cost NOK 120 for adults and NOK 50 for children.
