Wildlife and Heritage
Keep your eyes open as you navigate the river. If you are lucky, it is possible to see wild salmon jumping near the boat. Especially during the summer months (June to August), you might witness a glimpse of the salmon’s incredible journey as they migrate up the river to spawn.
Learn about the rich history of the waterway. In former times, the Otra was used for log floating. It served as the main transport route for heavy timber, floating logs from the deep forests down to the coast to build ships and houses.

Please note that there is no restroom onboard the boat; however, public toilets are located just 50 meters from the meeting point. Unfortunately, the boat is not wheelchair accessible. While catering is not provided, you are more than welcome to bring your own food and drinks to enjoy during the cruise.
